Melissa was a real champ. She and AJ are doing just fine.

The day started very early for Melissa and Brian. Melissa was up at 5:30am stirring with discomfort and early labor pains. She got ready as planned for a 7am call to the hospital to see if they would be able to induce her, for fear that she may not make it too the hospital for how far along she was. She was a true champ and I guess AJ also new it was his time to shine. Melissa woke Brian up and said it's time to go, so off we went, we even missed an early call from Joni. We were on our way by about 6:30am. We got to the hospital and were admitted into a delivery room. After some long efforts and some nice drugs, Melissa was able to deliver AJ at 9:49am.

He is a real joy. Melissa and AJ are recovering and will be in the hospital until Sunday. Then our family will be headed home and we will now be 5 members strong. Carter and Luke are very interested and timid. Time will tell.

AJ has slept almost the entire day. It is now time for me to sleep as well. Carter and Luke are sleeping at grandma and grandpa Collings house. Yet another sleep over for them, they have really liked being able to stay there, I heard Carter had turtle pancakes for breakfeast and almost ate the whole house. He sure loves those pancakes.
