Wow! We had a great Holiday. We had so many family and friends around that we were busy busy busy!!! Brian's Mom and Dad arrived from NY on the 13th of December. My brother and his family arrived from Maryland on the 18th. My cousin Chris was here from California for a week before Christmas too. We had everybody over to our house on Christmas Eve for a big feast and some entertainment from the kids. It was so fun to have everyone together.
Christmas morning is always fun. Nick was loving it. He's only 17 months but he knows what he wants. He ripped into all his packages with his teeth. Carter and Luke's big highlight was getting the Wii. Now we are all bowling pro's. I have to admit that I sweat while playing tennis. Luke aslo got 2 pet hamsters. Now that is a first for Mom. I don't do pets. They are cute, but do poop a lot.
We had Brian's Mom and Dad and his brother Peter and his family over for New Years Eve. We played card games all night and enjoyed ringing in the new year. Carter and Ellie were the only kids that made it to midnight. So I taught Carter and Ellie how to band pots and pans on the front porch. They thought I was nuts.
The kids go back to school on Monday. That will be a shock. We have been off track since the 5th of December. We have been staying up late and sleeping in. It's been nice. Even Nick has been sleeping in until 8:00.

I'm glad you documented Nick eating the presents open. That's so funny! Maybe he'll be a dentist.
Carter and Eliana aren't the only ones who think you're nuts for banging pans on New Years! :)
