School Days

The joys of parenthood. Melissa has been playing the role of concerned Mom, very well. Carter started the school year assigned with his first teacher. After a few days of talking with the neighbors, she got word of a local bully, ya bully, at the age of 5, CRAZY, that would be in Carter's class. Not only is the child a bully he seems to have free reign and no control, so Melissa decided to move him into another class. Well after a week of mishaps, Melissa decided she didn't like the new teacher, so she switched him back to his old teacher. So Carter is now settled, he seems to be liking his teacher and comes home with little Apha-Bit songs daily. Seems to be doing a lot better with his new teacher, who interestingly enough was the original assigned teacher.
Then we move onto Luke. He starts preschool, we had him signed up to go to a real preschool. The neighbor was going to split the shuttle duties since the school is in Riverton, about a 15 minute drive. Then Melissa learned that a local ward member had an opening in her preschool class that she holds at home. So Melissa and the neighbor were going to go to that instead. This was the plan, so Luke met his new teacher and Melissa was all ready to do that, until one of the parents asked if the preschool teacher was licensed, upon finding out that she wasn't there is some concern that Luke may be in a class that might be no longer if she gets ratted out. The lady has no interesting in doing the classes if she were to become licensed. The state would only allow 6 students, and there wouldn't be enough money in it for her to be licensed. So today Melissa is trying to see if she can get Luke back into the real preschool, it'll cost us about double for the year, but I just don't think we need anymore stress over which class, which school, which teacher.
