I had this weird idea that making paper mache turkeys for Thanksgiving would be fun to do with the boys. I'm pretty sure the boys were having a blast, but it's a little more work than I thought it would be. So I thought I would post the making of the turkey centerpieces. Here are pictures of the first step: covering the ballon with newspaper and homemade flour glue. Bonus: the boys thought their Mom was totally cool for knowing how to make glue. Luke's balloon rolled several times onto his shirt, hands, head, hair, and pants. Needless to say he went straight to the shower. Carter stayed very neat and clean and just needed a good wash of his hands. :)
