Birthdays, Dinosaurs, and Halloween, Oh My!

We have had a very busy month of October. Since my birthday is on the 20th and AJ's is on the 21st we had a combined birthday bash on the 21st. AJ was interested in maybe the first present opening and then we lost him from there. He was so tired by the end he didn't have any interest in his cake at all. Thanks to everybody for all the fun gifts.

The next saturday we went with Grandma and Grandpa to Red Butte Gardens for the Dinosaurs After Dark. The boys had a great time doing crafts and searching for dinosaurs at night.

I've decided that Halloween as an adult is just too much stress. So many halloween issues you don't even consider as a child. We had a 7 piece costume for Carter, and a 4 piece for Luke. (Just a little note to self, in the future find one piece costumes). We had 2 parades, 2 class parties and one sick little AJ. AJ had a fever of 102. So I made it to 1 parade and no class parties. AJ didn't even make it into his pirate costume. So no pictures of AJ on Halloween. He was just too miserable. Despite the sick baby Mom still took the 2 big boys trick or treating. Wow! They had so much fun. I think they finally got the idea this year that RUNNING from house to house goes faster, and therefor you get more candy. I had a great time watching them.

So now onto November, and another crazy Holiday. We are planning on spending Thanksgiving in Las Vegas with Brian's brother. We are excited to be going to a warm climate and the boys are doubley excited to play on the new play yard.

Have a good safe Holiday Season. Sorry about the Halloween photo.
